It’s important for everyone to have passions in life.
.
It’s important for everyone to have a purpose in life.
.
If you don’t have those things, life becomes boring…
.
You don’t value life because, well, there’s nothing to value.
.
It’s especially important to have those things in sobriety though.
.
Why?
.
Because they will keep driving you forward and keep you sober.
.
How?
.
When you have things to look forward to…
.
You rarely think about falling back into old ways of being and living.
.
When you don’t…
.
It’s very easy to slip back into old habits.
.
When you have a purpose…
.
You feel significant…
.
You don’t need alcohol, substances or any other addiction to make you feel like that.
.
And that’s why it’s so important to find a purpose in sobriety.
.
Something that gets you out of bed in the morning.
.
Something that you really enjoy doing.
.
Something that, essentially, prevents you from falling backwards into your old lifestyle.
.
At the beginning of your sobriety journey, you may not have any idea of what that might be.
.
But as time goes on…
.
And your sobriety ‘streak’ lengthens…
.
Your mind becomes clearer…
.
You regain a zest for life…
.
And your purpose becomes more and more clear.
.
Of course, if you're not on the lookout for that purpose…
.
It may never appear.
.
Or…
.
You’ll miss it when it passes by.
.
So…
.
It’s important to be on the lookout for that purpose at all times.
.
To keep looking for whatever it might be that lights your fire.
.
When you keep that kind of thinking in the forefront of your mind…
.
You will discover your true purpose.
.
And you’ll never have to worry about falling back into that addiction ever again.
.
That’s just one of the things we uncover on the 12 Month Sobriety Mastery Mentorship Program.
