⌛️ Leave The Past In The Past To Find Peace In The Present...

This is crucial in any area of life, but it’s life or death when it comes to sobriety.

If you don’t do this…

You will relapse and relapse, and relapse.

.

You’ll never recover.

.

When you hold onto past resentments, regrets, hurts, pain, frustrations - any negative state…

.

It continually holds you back, and becomes a justification to drink or use.

.

I know this, because I’ve experienced it myself.

.

I also see others still struggling in sobriety because they haven’t done the above.

.

Sobriety shouldn’t be like that - it doesn’t have to be.

.

It should be and can be joyful.

.

But that joy and freedom only comes through sifting through past negative events and all those memories that still create a physical response in you when you think about them.

.

It’s not easy to do, but it can be done…

.

It must be done…

.

If you want freedom and peace in the present - now.

.

Now, you can go it alone and do the work on your own - it’s possible.

.

Or, you can work through it with someone else…

.

Someone who’s been there and done it, and found freedom in the process.

.

The choice is ultimately up to you…

.

But it must be done, either way.

.
