In My Opinion - YES.
.
Having been through it myself…
.
I believe addiction is related to internal discontent.
.
Perhaps past pain and ‘trauma’ still residing in the subconscious.
.
Perhaps a lack of purpose and significance in one's life.
.
Perhaps both…
.
or more than the above.
.
Whatever it’s cause…
.
the internal discontent is the catalyst for addiction…
.
and what keeps you in addiction.
.
Whether you’re consuming alcohol or a substance to escape…
.
or carrying out a behaviour as distraction from the discontent…
.
it doesn’t matter.
.
The behaviour is there…
.
and until you discover what’s keeping you there…
.
and heal from it…
.
you will remain in that cycle.
.
Masking the behaviour with distraction…
.
or adding things into your life that are positive…
.
will not cure the inner conflict or discontent.
.
It will simply mask it…
.
until it eventually rears its ugly head again…
.
and you fall back into the cycle.
.
Only by searching for the cause…
.
and healing psychologically…
.
will you gain freedom.
.
But once you do that…
.
you will never have to revisit that place.
.
You’ll be free forever.
.
Never fearful or concerned about falling back into old ways of living.
.
If you’ve had enough of the cycle…
.
get in touch.
.
I have personal and professional experience of the above mentioned issue.
.
You’ll be in great hands.
.
