🤔 How Do You Remind Yourself To Be Grateful?

Here’s The Easy Way…

Sometimes it ‘seems’ difficult to be grateful.

.

There’s probably a lot going on in your life right now, right?

.

Most people have busy lives, don’t they.

.

But…

.

That doesn’t mean you can’t remember to be grateful.

.

It’s just an excuse not to be grateful.

.

We always love to justify why we can’t do something…

.

YOU always love to justify why YOU can't do something.

.

Gratitude is such an important thing to have in your life.

.

If you don’t take a moment to be grateful for what you have…

.

You’ll NEVER be happy and content.

.

Life will pass you by, moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, until one day it’s the end and you’ll be bitter and resentful because life passed you by and you didn’t stop every so often and appreciate what you actually had in the moment!

.

So…

.

How do you remind yourself to be grateful for the present and what you have RIGHT NOW?

.

Simple…

.

You keep something in your pocket or bag at all times.

.

Maybe a stone…

.

Maybe a charm…

.

A keepsake of some sort.

.

Then every time you put your hand in your pocket or notice that keepsake in your bag…

.

You pause for a moment and give thanks to the universe for what you have right now.

.

Just one thing will do…

.

One thing over the past 24 hours that you’re grateful for.

.

For me…

.

I give thanks for the gift of life; my strong, resilient, healthy body; the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch that allow me to navigate and experience the physical world and it’s beauty.

.

I give thanks for many more things but I always start with the above.

.

Why?

.

Because I think sometimes we forget in the busy-ness of life, how blessed we are to have just the above.

.

And keep it with you at all times.

.

You’ll be amazed at the difference a little gratitude will have on your life as a whole.
